Sex appeal sells. What may seem like a common cliché is the truth when it comes to sex. You know it from ProLine commercials to the women on Hooters Restaurant infomercial ads. Sex is marketing, and it works well. Actually it works better than well. I’m not here to tell you about the P to the O Industry, but it is a lucrative industry and can anyone help themselves not to? Who are you kidding, it’s a guilty pleasure for some and a life for others.
So without wasting any of your time now, stick some hot women or some hot men on your website or blog and write about it. Would that work?
Scratch your forehead, and rub your temples and think about it. How can you bring more traffic to your website with sex appeal? Sex appeal sells, but you’re not in the porn industry and I don’t recommend you get into it (although I hear its solid money). Look back at all the things that bring massive traffic to other websites, infomercials, TV, and other forms of entertainment.
For female athletes; they are hot, sweaty, good looking. For male athletes; your wife is probably hiding a “Firefighter” calendar in her office from you. Alas, we have identified something. If you want your site to attract men/women, you should use pictures, right? Actually, it’s the quite opposite.

Although men and women are stimulated by pictures and identify by using them. We’re talking marketing here not sex. The best ads are text ads. Linguistics might only be about 7% of the actual communication between individuals, but words in pictures are more powerful and meaningful to other people, customers, prospects, leads (whatever), than you and I are aware of. The meaning of words is powerful enough for people to relate to you. Don’t get me wrong, pictures are great, but they also show the many flaws in what you’re selling or showing.
Hence why many online Free Classified ads (Kijiji, Craigslist) don’t allow MLM or Network Marketing employment opportunities on their website. Most people will use pictures. Take for instance Kelly Felix – CEO of CreditPro aka The Rich Jerk. His flashy lifestyles and his jealous, “I-don’t-care-about-you” lifestyle is a negative marketing tactic to attract you to their products and wonder “what is this guy actually doing that makes him so wealthy.” Good question, don’t buy into it. He markets pictures, big rig boats, red hot Ferrari, the dream homes and the dream plane and the cottage island.

Does it work? Sure it does. He’s even using sex appeal in his video’s as if he’s always with steamy hot women. He has what most people want. Wealth, money, money and more money. In my humble opinion, his product is a waste of cash. I might as well invest in Joe Karbo’s Dyna/Psych or Dan Lapre’s truckload of SEO tools. Regardless the use of pictures in your marketing can drastically help you out, if you can use them with your brand.
